Holly Kouvo, Owner, Certified Personal TrainerHolly Kouvo & Nutrition Specialist

A lover of fitness all her life, Holly Kouvo is a certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Holly has taught aerobics at various clubs over the past 22 years and has been working as a personal trainer for eight years. In addition, she’s a certified nutrition specialist with American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN).

 

Holly started her own personal training company when, after 18 years in the high-tech industry, she decided to change careers and pursue her passion: helping people fit fitness into their lives. She also coaches people on eating better and enjoys watching her clients experience the benefits of doing both. Holly has great success working with clients who want to lose a lot of weight, including triple digits. Her constant motivation and goal setting is what gets clients to their ultimate weight-loss goal and keeps them there.
Holly is a member of IDEA Fitness, Business Networking International and the Be Better Program, a group of fitness professionals who are mentoring others to raise the level of professionalism and success of personal trainers in North America. She has been featured in IDEA Fitness Journal, Sudbury Town Crier, The MetroWest Daily News, The Stow Paper, The Groton Herald, and The Westford Eagle.

Holly has published articles in several national magazines, including American Fitnessand IDEA Fitness Journal, and she has been a regular contributor to the Body/Fitness pillar on Eons.com and their sister website RealForMe.com. She released her first exercise DVD called “Total Body Workout…Just Easy on The Knees™” in the fall of 2006. In addition, she has a weekly radio spot—“Holly’s Helpful Hints”—on Career/Life Radio (WNRI.com). She speaks regularly on topics pertaining to health, fitness, nutrition, and weight loss.

Holly makes her home in Stow, Mass., with her husband, Steve, and their two daughters.
